Brighton-based blue-haired beat-crafter Piper Hewitt-Dudding, aka Dilemma, has been a rising star as of late in the drum and bass scene. Since her debut with Skankandbass late 2016, which saw Radio 1 airplay and support from Calibre among others, she has graced the likes of Pola & Bryson’s Soulvent Records, Random Movement’s Flight Pattern, Lifestyle Music and more. A particular love for liquid as well as techy, rolling drum and bass is evident in her productions, however Dilemma draws inspiration from an array of different genres ranging from grunge to hip hop, industrial to psychedelic rock – as a result, her productions have a rare and infectious musicality to them, seizing inspiration from a diverse pool of genres into a new, drum and bass context.
